Energy Advice

Our Warmer Wales, Energy Advice Programme and Big Energy Saving Network projects can help provide energy advice to those who need it.

We deliver a holistic energy advice service, offering debt and benefits advice where required, helping our clients to identify some practical steps they can take to find a way forward.

We can help to support clients in a number of ways including:

  • helping them to improve their energy efficiency and reduce their energy bills (providing information and advice on energy saving, preventing heat loss, using heating systems, reducing condensation/damp and grant schemes)

  • offering welfare benefit checks and advice on further charitable support, bill reductions and budgeting

  • offering advice on debt, including areas such as bankruptcy, DROs, IVAs and Debt Management Plans

  • advice appointments to fuel poor and vulnerable consumers who are struggling to pay their bills or require better deals on energy

  • those who need guidance on the most appropriate payment methods or information on how to access help from energy suppliers and the Government

  • Information about Smart Meters

  • providing support to reduce stress and improve living conditions to help clients’ mental and physical health

Living in a cold home puts people’s health at risk, and our services aim to support those who may be most vulnerable. You can access online energy advice here.
